Hey, I’m Miriam

a 42-year-old, Northern Virginia based photographer, happy wife to an air force veteran, and mom to a little boy who keeps my heart full and my camera always ready. Born and raised in Germany, I came to the US in 2019 to live with my husband (who’s born in Virginia) and built a life shaped by curiosity, connection, and a deep love for the people around me.

Family has always been my anchor. I’m the kind of person who believes in long hugs, shared meals, and the magic of everyday moments. 
I’m also a travel addict at heart—someone who finds inspiration in new places, unfamiliar streets, and the stories that unfold when you wander with open eyes. And my friends? They’re the family I chose along the way.

Photography is how I hold onto all of it—the fleeting, the ordinary, the breathtaking. It’s my way of honoring the lives we’re living right now, exactly as they are.
